“New Year, New You,” The motto around the start of a new year.

As a performer, you work towards your goals every day, but, the new year is a fresh start to realign with how you can reach those goals and the steps you need to take to get there. Let’s break down common thoughts of performers trying to keep up with their resolution.

1. New Year’s Resolution: Eat Healthy

“I know to be the best performer I can be, I need to eat salads every day to stay healthy and strong, but also….WHO WANTS MCDONALDS AFTER REHEARSAL?!”

2. New Year’s Resolution: Read More Plays

“William Shakespeare and Arthur Miller! Here I come! I’ll write the songs and music in my head and turn it into a show-stopping hit complete with a great tap number.”

“I know I totally have to save for printed headshots and resumes, traveling to auditions, but anyone else see the new LaDuca character shoes?!?!”
